Wine of the Week- Therapy Pinot Noir

Now celebrating its fourth vintage in 2009, Therapy Vineyards is nestled between the mountains and the lake along the Naramata Bench. This spectacular location has definitely proved to be successful for them as they have produced great award winning wines since they first began in 2004; the 2008 Pinot Noir just recently won the Gold Medal in the Fall Okanagan Wine Festival.

The 2008 Pinot Noir is "blended from four different vineyard’s fruit; three in Naramata and one in Summerland," then it is aged for 8 months in French Oak Barrels. It is described as exploding with "fruits and jams with elements of mint, spice from oak and perfume that radiate from the glass." It is Medium bodied with soft tannins and lots of fresh berry fruit with a hint of smokiness that will develop more earthly characteristics with age.

Enjoy this award winning Pinot Noir with your Easter dinner as it will compliment a ham or turkey dinner perfectly.

“Bring on the Therapy”

Firefly Maple Ridge will be having a complimentary tasting of Therapy Vineyards on Friday March 26th from 3pm - 7pm.
