Wine of The Week- Mission Hill Reserve Chardonnay

This is a very good Chard. It has a lovely bit of buttery, not over the top though, with some oak is present. This is a wine loaded with peach, tropical fruit (pineapple and banana), floral, butterscotch and toasty oak aromas. The lively acidity, fresh fruit and oak notes combine to deliver an elegant balanced finish.  It’s medium full-bodied with a creamy texture leading to a long finish.

Food Pairing:

An inspired match for pan-seared chicken breast with rosemary and garlic.
