Gueuze is a Belgian lambic beer that is made by blending 1 and 2-3 yr old beers into a new beer, rebottling, and then undergoing a secondary fermentation. Because of the light use of aged hops and the extended ageing in wooden barrels for a year, this beer is referred to as the Champagne of the Beer world. The style is sprightly and elegant.
Pairs best with mussels
