Wine Of the Week- Kato Sauvignon Blanc

Kato means "Harvest" in Maori, referring to the unique heritage of the region. The vineyard is located in the Awatere Valley in Marlborough.
This winery is very concerned with the protection of all natural environments including the ocean and the creatures in it.
Kato proudly supports the WDCS (Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society)
Their saying is "Drink the Wine. Save the Whales".

This Sauvignon Blanc stands out for its vibrant aromas of melon , Passion fruit and citrus. The palate combines the same aromas but with the flintiness and minerality so representative of this terroir.

Enjoy this well balanced, long finish wine with seafood or pasta as well as salads and ethnic cuisine.
