Wine of the Week - Don Baltazar Petit Verdot 2008

With fruit sourced from the San Juan at 2500 meters in elevation, this wine is an intensely colored wine with a well balanced structure of fruit forward tones and a floral finish. Black fruits, and raspberries are prevalent on the nose and hints of vanilla and chocolate are also noted.

This wine is aged for 9 months in French and American oak barrels.

Food Pairing: BBQ dishes, strong cheese, and steak
