Complimentary Tasting of Dunham & Froese at Firefly Maple Ridge Saturday February 14th from 3pm - 7pm

Dunham & Froese Estate Winery is located just 8km north of Oliver in the Okanagan Valley in BC. They are a relatively new winery, but were already named Best New Winery in 2008 at the Okanagan Fall Wine festival. This small production winery that is hands on from the vineyard to the bottle, uses organic and biodynamic practices and their wines have already been collecting the accolades. Winemaker Kirby Froese has had 15 years of experience in many different countries, and has also been a member of the British Columbia VQA tasting panel since 1999.



In honor of the Olympics, we are pleased to present a selection February 14th from 3pm to 7pm at Firefly Maple Ridge located at 21755 Lougheed Highway

2008 Pinot Blanc

This European style “Poor Man’s Chardonnay” is aged in French Oak for six weeks for 6 weeks showing fresh fruity tones of apple with a hint of toasty vanilla.

2008 Rose

This Merlot Syrah blend is full-bodied and made in the traditional European bone dry style and had a brief skin contact before being gently pressed.

2007 Amicitia Red

Amicitia is Latin for friendship and it represents the harmony in the blend of the grapes which were fermented separately. This stunning red is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Malbec, and Merlot and is aged in Oak barrels for 18 months.
