Hester Creek Winery

This winery is ideally located in the heart of vineyard lands known as The Golden Mile, and is one of the 'Grande Dames' of the Okanagan Valley.

The land saw its first vines planted in the late sixties, and was one of the sole properties to experiment with the European Vinifera vines, well before BC's mass conversion to Vinifera in the eighties. As such, the estate has some of the oldest European vine varieties in the country.

Hester Creek has 95 acres of agricultural land, of which 76 are under vine.

The opulent red wines they produce are the ultimate product of our vineyard and our dedication to excellence. These wines have for many years been widely celebrated and are the recipient of many awards. They are also proud to have planted within their own vineyard, Vinifera vines over 40 years ago that continue to produce consistently outstanding wines, and will do so for many years to come.

Firefly Maple Ridge will be tasting the  Cabernet Merlot  2008 as well as the Pinot Blanc 2007 in store from 3pm to 7pm on Saturday 20th February.
