Wine of the Week - Blue Mountain Pinot Blanc 2008

Blue Mountain Estate Winery is located in beautiful Okanagan Falls, BC and the Winery is very proud of the fact that it has had more than 36 years of continuous grape production by one family. "With a belief that the best quality wine starts in the vineyard, Blue Mountain uses several sustainable practices in the vineyard that continue the commitment to creating the smallest “footprint” possible."

Using entirely 100% estate grown grapes Blue Mountain 2008 Pinot Blanc displays complex flavors of white peaches and apricot which are complemented by butterscotch on the nose and palate. "A full mouth feel with apricots turning to peaches on the palate leads into a fresh, long finish."

Serve this delicious wine with seafood, seafood, light-flavored meats, light to medium sauces and soft cheeses.

Enjoy a complimentary tasting of Blue Mountain Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Gold Label Brut this Friday Feburary 12th at Firefly Fine Wines and Ales Maple Ridge from 3-6pm.
