Phillips Brewing Company
Phillips Brewery located on Government Street in Victoria was established by Brewmaster Matt Phillips in 2001. This one man show grew into an artisanal brewery which was named BC Brewery of the Year in 2006, 2007, and 2008 by the BC Chapter of CAMRA as well as the Northwest Brewing News’ Readers Choice Award for Brewery of the Year in 2008.
Phoenix Gold Lager: Classic Bohemian lager, fermented cold, and liberally hopped with innovative North American varietals. A distinctive nose complements the traditionally crisp finish.
Blue Buck Ale: A deep amber colored beer, the Blue Buck has a crisp finish featuring a delicate hop aroma.
Slipstream Cream Ale: Duck into the slipstream and enjoy the rich flavors of a BC original! Medium bodied and smooth like pedal stroke.
Longboat Chocolate Porter: We would say that Longboat is a classic chocolate porter, but let’s face it, who has ever heard of a chocolate porter? It is however, rich dark ale, with a distinctive chocolate finish.
