Complementary Tasting of Santa Margherita Wines at Firefly Maple Ridge Saturday February 13th from 3pm - 7pm

In the 1930's the Santa Margherita Wine Estate was founded with a desire to make wines from a single varietal that spoke of the region as much as the grape. Today, Santa Margherita wines are known for their easy drinking and great accessibility along with their modern wine making edge.

Santa Margherita's states that their vision is a simple one: "to establish ourselves around the world as one of the principal proponents of Italian eno-gastronomic culture."   Santa Margherita is proud of the the fact that drinkers can match any of their wines to delicious food and create a pleasurable experience.

Enjoy a complimentary tasting of three classic Santa Margherita wines at Firefly Maple Ridge on Saturday February 13th from 3pm - 7pm.

Pinot Grigio
This straw yellow wine displays precise and intense scents of white fruits (particularly pears and Golden Delicious apples) as well as delicate spicy notes.

Merlot
A wine that shows its elegance even on the nose, with evident notes of violets and red fruits, on the palate it offers deep, rounded fruit, along with finesse and supreme balance.

Shiraz
Its forceful tannins, which are also supported by an attractive vein of acidity, are softened by its spell in oak. Its explosive power on the palate also stems from its perception of volume, alcoholic warmth and persistence.
